In March 2009, twenty four Art Centre staff attended two workshops at Desart’s office in Alice Springs. The workshops provided training in the use of Artists Management Software (‘AMS’) which is the standard software package used in Central Australian Art Centres. The course covered all the basic functions and applications before moving onto advanced use of the software and its new ‘add on’ AMSA which provides a way of developing sophisticated management reports for Art Centres.
