Work in an Aboriginal Owned, Community Art Centre
Papunya is the birthplace of the Western Desert art movement and home to artists from strong and dedicated painting families. This is a rare opportunity to join and support a growing, strong Art Centre, taking on new and exciting art and cultural projects both nationally and internationally.
Art Centre Manager– Full-time
Art Centre Manager applicants should be professional, have business acumen and knowledge of the visual arts sector.
Salary package equivalent to $77,235 - $88,860pa (according to experience)
Studio Manager - Full Time
Studio Manager Applicants should have knowledge of contemporary art and be familiar with professional painting practice and have knowledge of colour theory.
Salary package equivalent to $72,233 - $83,301pa(according to experience)
Both applicants will need to have a respect for and understanding of Aboriginal people and culture, and have expertise in cross-cultural environments.
Salaries offered are inclusive of leave loading, superannuation and minimum salary sacrifice. Additional entitlements include subsidised accommodation, vehicle allowance.
